About me
I'm 37. I lead engineering teams and I still build things with my hands. BS in Management Information Systems. Microsoft, a startup I started with friends, a product org I ran, now Tenable. Wife, two kids, a Great Pyrenees named Bear, a cat named Eevee.

Early life
Born September 18, 1987 in Corning, NY. Second of six brothers. I took apart the family VCR and more than once reformatted the family computer trying to see how it worked. Tree forts. Long summers. That kind of 90s.

Starting out
I moved out at 17 and built custom PCs. $20,000 the first year. That was enough money to think I could run a company and enough chaos to know I needed more school. In high school I also ran a site selling Magic: The Gathering cards and put on after-school tournaments.

School
BS in Management Information Systems from a college in Roanoke, VA. I worked full time through it. In the apartment I pulled an LCD matrix out of a TV and made a multi-touch table. A projector on the wall was the other experiment.

Work
Microsoft first, enterprise cloud. Then I started Adapify with three friends. Later I led the team that built Shipcode at Branding Brand. Now I work in Web App Security at Tenable.
Hobbies
These are the things I like to do in my free time, there are way too many and never enough time.
